Donate

We need many caring individuals willing to make a monthly or yearly donation to maintain this ministry.

We are hoping that you will pledge yourself to Emmaus House by becoming a COMPANION.

We continue to seek grants from foundations and arrange yearly fundraisers, but it is always the grass root support that sustains us.

We have no government affiliations, and are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, making your gift tax deductible.

Churches in Fellowship

We are also asking parishes to commit to this Christian ministry by helping with our food and clothing pantries as well as volunteering with the Traveling Kitchen and other needs of the house. Father Martin Kraus (Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, East Meadow, NY) is coordinating these efforts. He can be reached at  516-234-0463

A wishlist can be found by clicking here.  Spring/Summer clothing is in high demand, especially, hoodies, jeans, t-shirts, socks, and sneakers as well as underware.  Also, the following staples are needed for food preparation: peanut butter, jelly, bread, butter, beans, canned tomatoes, 100% juice boxes. We also need cleaning supplies: paper towels, dish detergent, brillo pads, cleanser, bleach.
A group of youth lead by Fr Andrew Fetchina from St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church in Rahway, NJ presenting Julia Demaree a check after spending the day at Emmaus House folding and sorting clothes, planting in the garden, scrubbing the kitchen floor, and cleaning the chapel . Afterwards, Fr. Andrew served a pannikhida for Fr. David Kirk in the beautifully scrubbed chapel.
